IQOS BONDS & IQOS BLENDS Sticks in Dubai, UAE: Buying Guide
ONDS by IQOS is a compact heated-tobacco device made by Philip Morris International. It works only with BLENDS tobacco sticks. It is a different system from IQOS ILUMA, which uses TEREA sticks. For Dubai and Sharjah, vap.ae offers delivery in 2–3 hours. Delivery to the rest of the UAE takes up to 24 hours. Weekend cargo shipping is off.
This guide is for adult nicotine users only. Heated tobacco products contain nicotine, which is addictive, and they are not risk-free.
What is BONDS by IQOS?
BONDS is a heat-not-burn device. It warms a tobacco stick instead of burning it. According to PMI’s published product information, it has a resistive heater, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB-C charging port. At its late-2022 launch, PMI said a full charge gave up to 20 uses, including three in a row. It came in four colours.
The retail box holds the device, a USB-C cable and a user guide.
What are IQOS BLENDS sticks?
BLENDS are the tobacco sticks made for BONDS. The launch coverage says BONDS is designed to be used exclusively with them. Five flavours were available at launch. Names and availability vary by market, so check the pack in your hand: [FILL IN: current BLENDS flavours].
BONDS vs ILUMA: what’s the difference?
| BONDS by IQOS | IQOS ILUMA | |
|---|---|---|
| Sticks | BLENDS | TEREA |
| Heating | Resistive heater, heats the stick from the outside | Induction heating (SmartCore) |
| Style | Compact, simple | Premium range (ILUMA, ILUMA ONE, ILUMA PRIME) |
Sticks are not interchangeable between the two systems. Don’t assume a pack will work in your device. Check the pack against the device before you order, or message us on WhatsApp first.
BLENDS vs TEREA vs HEETS
- BLENDS are for BONDS devices.
- TEREA sticks are for ILUMA devices only.
- HEETS are for the older blade-style IQOS models.
Buying the wrong type is the most common mistake we see, and it is easy to avoid.
How to choose
- Check your device first. Look at the name on it: BONDS, ILUMA or an older IQOS.
- Match the stick type to that device using the list above.
- Pick a flavour family. Tobacco-style flavours are the usual starting point. Menthol and fresh styles are for people who want something lighter.
- Buy a small amount first if you are trying a new flavour.
